Castle Hot Springs Brand Launch + Website Design
The Challenge
Built in 1896, the historic Castle Hot Springs Resort was an exclusive destination throughout the early 1900’s. The healing, spring waters created a tropical, desert oasis in Arizona’s Bradshaw Mountains, and attracted famous families such as the Kennedys, Vanderbilts and Rockefellers. However, declining interest and a destructive fire forced it to close in the 1970’s, and it sat vacant since. That is, until a local investor set out to restore it to its former glory.
While restoration and renovation of the grounds were under way, we set out to build a unique and coveted brand, create an immersive digital experience, and encourage people to explore this revitalized wellness resort. And we needed to do it with very limited photography while the resort was under construction.
The Solution
Pulling inspiration from our brand messaging foundation, the refreshed logo is intended to give a nod to the original, while simplifying it, modernizing it, and giving it a high-end feel. It brings to life the concept of “Immersing” in the healing waters, and “Emerging” into the sun, renewed.
The website seeks to create the same sentiment, using a captivating narrative and collection of visuals. It gives viewers a chance to preview what this exclusive experience is like, details customization options, and ultimately encourages users to book their stay.
